British Land has installed EDGE Intelligent Systemsat Broadgate Tower, 10 Triton Street, 20 Triton Street and Ropemaker Place, as well as York House. They are working with their occupiers to install it in a further four buildings over the next few months, with all multi-let managed offices and three shopping centres installing it by March 2011. Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Service (MARS)
Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Service (MARS) identifies electricity, gas and water reduction opportunities through the use of EDGE Intelligent software.
The site data for electricity, water and gas (waste optional) is downloaded remotely via ADSL /telephone from each site. The MARS team analyses the individual key services/loads, identifying operational and control strategy anomalies that require investigation to further reduce energy consumption, which is then reported back to the customer via monthly reports.
The MARS team also works with the client, FM teams and site services contractors to develop energy efficient strategies to further optimised consumption with the available resources for each site.
